Not at all. It features an incredibly easy floating or fixed-bridge installation that completely bypasses the need for underwater foundations or complex piping. During installation, simply ensure the nozzle is slightly above the water surface and secure the unit to the pool bottom or bank using high-strength ropes.
Can it operate safely in very shallow ponds or during freezing winters?
The aerator requires a minimum water depth of 45 cm (17.7 inches) for seepage-proof bottoms, and greater than 80 cm (31.5 inches) for natural mud bottoms. In icy winter climates, continuous operation can naturally melt the surrounding ice. However, if the machine is not running continuously, it must be removed from the water or disconnected from the power supply to prevent freezing damage.
