The Lanjiang LJ-DSB600 is a compact entry-level inverted umbrella surface aerator in the LJ-DSB series, specifically designed for small to medium oxidation ditches, activated sludge processes, and aerated lagoons.

The inverted umbrella impeller rotates at low speed, lifting oxygen-deficient water and sludge from below along the conical surface. The discharged water creates a hydraulic jump at the surface that entrains atmospheric oxygen, while simultaneously driving the mixture into a spiral circulation pattern at a velocity exceeding 0.3 m/s.
