Submersible mixers are essential equipment in water treatment processes, designed to homogenize solid-liquid two-phase flow and solid-liquid-gas three-phase flow in biochemical processes. QJB Type Submersible Mixers are available in two main series:
Mixing Agitation Series: Designed for agitating liquids containing suspended solids in sewage treatment plants and industrial processes
Low-Speed Propelling Flow Series: Suitable for aeration tanks in industrial and municipal sewage treatment plants; generates powerful water flow with low tangential flow for water circulation, nitrification, denitrification, and phosphorus removal operations

Working Principle
The submersible mixer operates by driving the impeller to rotate, creating rotational jet and axial propelling flow. The jet generates mixing through surface shear force, while the propelling flow conveys fluid forward via axial thrust. This combined action forms a bulk flow pattern that achieves required water velocity and process flow fields.
The mixing agitation series features multi-stage motors with direct-drive structure, offering compact design, low energy consumption, high efficiency, and easy maintenance. These units provide high manufacturing precision and substantial thrust for solid-liquid mixing applications. The low-speed propeller series is optimized for propelling and agitating functions.
Key Precautions
The submersible mixer must operate fully submerged in water and is prohibited from use in flammable, explosive, or highly corrosive environments. Installation requires proper steel expansion bolt fixation according to specifications, with secure cable tying and fastening. All impellers are constructed from polyurethane, and equipment includes a helical gear box reducer for reliable performance.
