The QSB submersible jet aerator is a highly efficient gas-liquid mass transfer device designed for mid-to-deep aeration in equalization and mixing tanks. It delivers high oxygenation with low energy consumption while generating high-energy flow that prevents sludge settling. The system supports automated control and operates underwater to prevent winter freezing.
This aeration device serves biological water and wastewater treatment processes, efficiently oxygenating and mixing sewage-sludge mixtures in aeration tanks and aerated grit chambers.
During operation, a pressurized water jet creates negative pressure in the diffuser throat to draw in atmospheric air. The air-water mixture is discharged at high speed, creating wide and deep vortex mixing for effective aeration. With adjustable air intake and constant shaft power unaffected by depth, this jet aerator is ideally suited for tanks with fluctuating water levels.
