Product Description
Detailed Specifications & Features
3-5x Faster Settling | >99% Magnetic Powder Recovery | Magnetic Coagulation Integrated Sedimentation Tank | Municipal & Industrial Wastewater Advanced Treatment
Advanced Wastewater Treatment System
The Magnetic Coagulation Integrated Sedimentation Tank is a highly efficient wastewater treatment system that integrates magnetic powder dosing, coagulation reaction, and solid-liquid separation. Operating on the advanced principle of "magnetically synergistic coagulation and sedimentation," this equipment introduces magnetic powder as a "seed" during coagulation, working synergistically with coagulants to drastically accelerate floc formation and increase floc density.
In the sedimentation zone, the heavy magnetic-coagulation flocs settle rapidly under gravity, achieving fast mud-water separation. After sedimentation, sludge is processed through a high-intensity magnetic field where magnetic powder is separated and recycled, while remaining waste sludge is discharged.
This system is widely used in municipal sewage treatment plants, raw water pretreatment for tap water plants (algae, turbidity, and phosphorus removal), industrial park wastewater advanced treatment, reclaimed water reuse, and black-odorous water body remediation.

Core Advantages
  • Extremely Efficient: 3-5x Faster Settling - Magnetic powder weighting creates dense flocs that settle 3-5 times faster than traditional methods, with total hydraulic retention time reduced to just 20-30 minutes.
  • Ultra-Compact Footprint Saves Infrastructure - Rapid settling velocity and high surface loading rate (15-30 m³/(m²*h)) require only 1/3 to 1/2 the space of traditional sedimentation processes, ideal for limited land availability or capacity expansion projects.
  • Outstanding Water Purification Performance - Achieves over 95% suspended solids removal rate, with effluent SS reliably below 10 mg/L and turbidity below 1 NTU. Excellent removal efficiency for total phosphorus (TP) and chemical oxygen demand (COD).
  • Ultra-High Recovery Rate for Low Operating Costs - Built-in high-intensity magnetic separation achieves over 99% magnetic powder recovery, drastically reducing chemical consumption and sludge disposal costs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to constantly buy and add large amounts of magnetic powder? Will operating costs be high?
No, costs remain low. The equipment features an integrated high-efficiency magnetic separation and recycling system that extracts and reuses over 99% of magnetic powder before sludge discharge. Only minimal replenishment for daily losses is required, keeping operating costs highly economical.
How does the footprint compare to a traditional sedimentation tank?
Footprint is drastically reduced. The dense magnetic flocs require only 20-30 minutes hydraulic retention time, resulting in equipment that occupies just 1/3 to 1/2 the space needed for traditional sedimentation processes.
Is this effective for removing phosphorus and lowering turbidity?
Highly effective. The magnetically synergistic coagulation process achieves over 95% suspended solids removal with effluent turbidity easily dropping below 1 NTU. This enhanced coagulation process also provides excellent removal of total phosphorus and chemical oxygen demand (COD), making it ideal for wastewater plant upgrades.
