The GSHZ rotary bar screen effectively removes floating debris in municipal waterworks, pump stations, and power intakes to protect downstream processes. The equipment consists of a drive unit, sprockets, frame (constructed from carbon or stainless steel), and rake teeth (made of ABS, nylon, or stainless steel).
The teeth are assembled into a continuous rake chain. When powered by the drive unit, the chain rotates upward along the upstream face. The gap between the teeth defines the screening clearance for effective solid-liquid separation. As the rake reaches the top and inverts, debris falls off by gravity. This action, combined with a relative self-cleaning motion between the rows and an auxiliary rubber wiper, completes a full debris-removal cycle.
