Heavy-Duty Shaftless Screw Conveyor for Municipal Sewage Pretreatment with Simple Structure and Fully Enclosed Design

Shaftless screw conveyors are commonly used in the inlet pumping stations of wastewater treatment plants, the water intake facilities of water treatment plants, and municipal stormwater pumping stations. They are generally used in conjunction with mechanical screens and sludge dewatering equipment to convey screenings, dewatered sludge cakes, and other materials. They can also be used for conveying granular solids.

The WLS shaftless screw conveyor consists of a shaftless screw, U-shaped trough, wear-resistant liner, cover plate, inlet, outlet, and drive unit.

Material enters through the inlet, is pushed forward by the rotating screw, and is discharged through the outlet.

At a specified screw diameter, pitch, and rotational speed, the conveying capacity of the shaftless screw conveyor depends on the bulk density of the material, the conveying distance, and the conveying height.

• Simple structure with no intermediate bearings inside the trough, ensuring smooth material conveying and easy maintenance.
• A universal-joint coupling developed by our company can be adopted when required, effectively eliminating the risk of shaft breakage.
• Except for the inlet and outlet, all other sections can be fully enclosed with covers, preventing material spillage and reducing air pollution.
