This aerator is suitable for shrimp farming, fish farming, crab farming, and other aquaculture applications. It increases dissolved oxygen in water, improves water quality, enables higher stocking density, enhances living conditions for aquatic animals, and prevents fish and shrimp mortality due to hypoxia. This essential aquaculture machinery significantly improves economic benefits and is ideal for high-yield fish ponds.
- Variable frequency control for energy saving and power efficiency
- No endless gear box - maintenance-free and noiseless operation
- Slow start function for extended service life
- Wide voltage operation - phase failure will not burn the motor
- Excellent oxygenation efficiency with strong water pushing capability
The water wheel aerator is driven by an electric motor, which drives the impeller through a reducer. During operation, the impeller blades are partly or fully submerged. As the impeller rotates:
When blades enter the water, they splash and force air into the water, pushing surface water down to the bottom and backward. When blades are perpendicular to the water surface, they create a parallel force and form directional flow. Before blades leave the water, negative pressure lifts lower-layer water. When blades exit the water, they carry and fling water upward by centrifugal force, forming splashes and droplets to dissolve more air. Airflow from the rotating impeller also speeds up air dissolution.
