The rotary drum screen is an advanced 4-in-1 system integrating screening, scraping, screw conveying, and compaction dewatering. Installable in channels or tanks, it dewaters screenings during transport to drastically reduce waste volume and disposal costs. Comprising a drive unit, screen basket, rake assembly, and a conveying/compacting unit, this rotary drum screen is installed in the channel at a 35° angle. Wastewater enters the cylindrical drum, where debris is intercepted on the inner surface. As the motor-driven drum rotates, a top-mounted brush and flushing system clear the screen, dropping screenings into a central trough. A transport screw then lifts, compacts, and dewaters the waste before discharging it into a bin or conveyor for disposal.
