Product Description
Short Face-to-Face Stainless Steel Knife Gate Valve for Compact Pipelines
Application and Overview
Rising-Stem and Non-Rising-Stem Wear-Resistant Knife Gate Valves
  • Available in rising-stem or non-rising-stem designs covering sizes from DN50 to DN2000
  • Full-bore circular flow passage prevents material accumulation and minimizes blockage
  • Knife-shaped gate edge cuts through soft materials like fibers, paper pulp, and wood pulp
  • Gate sealing surface scrapes away adhered material during operation
  • Stainless-steel gate provides excellent corrosion resistance
  • Short face-to-face dimension reduces material consumption and installation space
  • Triangular support frame maintains structural strength with reduced material usage
  • Guide blocks ensure accurate gate movement; pressure blocks maintain sealing contact
  • Reinforcing ribs improve valve body strength and rigidity
  • Internal flow passage available with V-shaped or triangular opening for flow regulation
Available Actuator Options:
  • Handwheel
  • Manual chain wheel
  • Spur-gear actuator
  • Bevel-gear actuator
  • Pneumatic actuator
  • Electric actuator
  • Electro-hydraulic actuator

Applications
The knife gate valve is suitable for handling a wide range of fluids, slurries, powders, and bulk materials, including:
  • Gold ore powder and mineral slurries
  • Coal, coal slurry, and mine wastewater
  • Paper pulp, wood pulp, and fibrous materials
  • Dust and chemical-processing wastewater
  • Sedimentation-tank sludge
  • Mineral sand, tailings, and furnace slag
  • Asphalt and cement slurry
  • Silo and hopper discharge applications
  • Fruit, grain, and other bulk materials
  • Slaughterhouse wastewater
  • Pneumatic conveying pipelines
  • Media used in beer-brewing processes
Also suitable for water supply, drainage, and ash or slag discharge systems in power plants.
Temperature Applications:
High-temperature: Below 540°C
Ultra-high-temperature: Below 900°C
Actual applicable temperature depends on valve-body material, sealing material, and selected configuration.
Product Features
  • Compact design with small installation footprint
  • Low weight and economical construction
  • Easy installation and maintenance
  • Wear-resistant and anti-clogging structure
  • Reliable operation with solids, fibers, slurry, or particulate matter
  • Convenient operation with long service life
  • Wide range of optional actuators and operating mechanisms
Installation and Operating Instructions
  1. Before installation, verify valve model, connection dimensions, pressure rating, and operating medium. Confirm that valve installation and specified flow direction comply with application requirements.
  2. Reserve sufficient clearance around the valve for installation, actuator operation, inspection, and maintenance.
  3. Complete electrical wiring for the actuator strictly according to the supplied wiring diagram.
  4. Inspect and maintain the valve regularly. Avoid impact, collision, compression, or other external damage that could deform the valve body or gate and adversely affect sealing performance.
